Trish Stratus is expected to compete at Money in the Bank
Throughout her illustrious career in WWE, Trish Stratus has accomplished much, but she has never competed in a Money in the Bank ladder match. That’s set to change on July 1, 2023, however, when Stratus competes at Money in the Bank in London.
Last week, Stratus competed against each other at RAW Raquel Rodriguez in a qualifier for MITB. While Rodriguez appeared to do well against the legend, she lost the match due to interference from Becky Lynch, allowing Stratus to qualify.
At Money in the Bank, Stratus will share the ring with some of WWE’s top Superstars. Although this is her first MITB ranked match, it will be interesting to see how the 47-year-old uses her wrestling experience to win this competition.
Trish Stratus had difficulties traveling for tonight’s episode of RAW
This week’s Monday Night RAW will be the final episode of the red brand before Money in the Bank. Of course, it will be important for every Superstar – especially those who compete in ranked play at Money in the Bank. One such superstar that fits into the latter category is Trish Stratus.
With Stratus competing at the PLE, being part of Monday Night RAW would be of paramount importance to her. However, before the episode could begin, Stratus shared an update with her fans. On Twitter, the former champion wrote extensively and called:
“Flight cancelled. But the WWE travel team is working diligently to get me to #WWERaw as I’ve been told we need some much-needed star power for that summit tomorrow. At least there will be some #StarkPower @ZoeyStarkWWE for sure.”
